Turn Chaos Into Calm with Planners and Journals

The amount of information and chaos that happens in my brain needs a calm outlet. My outlet is to document and let everything out into the pages of a  Leuchtturm1917.  I love to journal daily, plan, write lists and more.

I have been a brand ambassador for  Leuchtturm1917  for five years and I am so grateful to work with them. I have used Leuchtturm1917 journals and sketchbooks for over five years and really love the quality of them. A journal needs to be strong and not fall apart because I stick a lot of things in it like memories, photos, receipts and more. I really love how you can choose a notebook colour, lines or dots and size of the notebook.

I really love to create monthly pages and write dates to remember and bucket lists.

Yes Love a lot of stickers too. Inside and out my book. The more the better.

I've been using the "some lines a day" journal and I have two more years to go with this. Love it so much. I reflect back on what I did this day last year and it is amazing to read. Very grateful for each moment that I have documented.

Overall I love using my Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. I find writing things down really helps me plan better and declutter my brain.
I love the quality of the notebooks, planners and sketchbooks.

Writing and documenting definitely helps turn my chaos into calmness!

Thank you all for reading my blog post. I appreciate it!

Beyond the Lines: Exploring the World of Notebooks & Journals With a Cuppa

Hello friends!
 Happy November!
How do you like my new cuppa?
This came with a set of three other cups and they all have a different designs on them.
I received the set from a wonderful friend.
Can't wait to share each one with you every week.

Linking up with  Tea Stands For Tuesday hosted by the lovely Elizabeth.
Also linking up to The Good The Random The Fun hosted by Tamar.

THE GOOD

I have a few notebooks, journals and planners that I wanted to share with you. I bought a red Clever Fox Weekly planner from Amazon and I use this for appointments and to-do lists. It's a great planner. I really enjoy using this weekly. It sculpts my thoughts and brain around what I need to do and what I need to accomplish in the week and month.

Vision Board for 2026
I used Pinterest to print out some images
I also used some stickers.

This is how the weekly layout is in the Clever Fox Weekly Planner

I have a red Leuchtturm1917 and I use it for a Creative Journal. This lovely journal was gifted to me. In this journal I love to capture memories in creative ways like drawing, making collages, cut and pasting, adding photos, embellishments, making lists, writing poems and journal entries.

I just had to add pom-poms to the journal.
Leuchtturm1917 is by far my favourite notebook out there.
I love the quality of the notebook.

I have a Junky Junk journal, It's an Oxford Composition Notebook and in it I put all paper and scraps that I like. The messier the better! I will be be sharing a flip through of my Junky Junk Journal when I finish it.

I have a pocket size Leuchtturm1917 softcover that I use as a commonplace book.

"Commonplace books (or commonplaces) are personal notebooks used to compile any information the owner finds interesting or useful. They can variously contain notes, proverbsadagesaphorismsmaxims, recipes, quotes, letters, poems, tables of weights and measures, prayers, legal formulas, and other professional references. They have been kept from antiquity, and were kept particularly during the Renaissance and in the nineteenth century." -wikipedia

So far I have documented quotes from books, bible quotes and classical music that I love.

I love a commonplace book. Yes of course I decorated the cover!

I have a Leuchtturm1917 five year planner called "Some Lines A Day" which I write a few lines of what happened in my day and I write it before bed. I love this planner because each day it allows me to see what I was doing the year before on the exact date. Very amazing planner and I will continue to use it because I love it so much.

I also have a Traveler's Notebook. I bought an affordable one off of Amazon.
This is great to take with me when I am out of the house.

This is my Moleskine notebook which I use as a monthly calendar, daily thoughts and to-do lists plus food and recipes and creative junk pages too. I am not a fan of this book. I will be using this up because when I start something I must finish it.

Do you have a favourite notebook?
Let me know which notebooks you like and enjoy.
 I would love to know.
I also have two more notebooks, one to write stories and poetry and another notebook that sits by the couch area just incase I have an idea and want to jot it down quickly.
You can never have enough notebooks, journals, sketchbooks or planners! :)

THE RANDOM

I have a new About Me Page.
Check it out if you like to read a little about me.

Here is the set of four mugs.
Which one is your favourite?

Thank you all for visiting my blog. I appreciate you so much.

THE FUN

Check out my New Vlog if you like.

I was thinking of making a journal vlog where I can share all my journals with you.
Let me know if this is something that would interest you.

Thank you and have a wonderful rest of the week!
Thank you,
Maria

Happy Autumn! Free October Printable 🍁

Hello Friends!

Happy Autumn!

This week I would like to focus on completing some things like editing my vlog and uploading it. (done!) Making some arts and craft shorts for my Youtube Channel and hopefully get the opportunity to go to a couple of places with my family. This means writing my goals in my notebook and marking them off. I carry things over to the next month if I don't complete things.

I managed to edit and upload the vlog! Have a look if you like. I don't speak in this one as much.

READING

I am still having a hard time reading long books so I have switched to poetry!  I kindly won this book "Little Alleluias" collected poetry and prose Mary Oliver by Hatchette Book Group Inc. I am so grateful. So far I love it!

Poetry is shorter and also meaningful and perfect for my attention span at the moment.

Hello Beautiful September! FFO Friday Face Off

I've been inspired by all the posts I've been reading lately from Friday Face Off.

All the artists are so amazing.

I love and enjoy looking at everyone's artwork, written works and photography.

Dear readers have a look at all the wonderful Artists!

LINKING UP FRIDAY FACE OFF

Mixed media: I used paper, glue, markers and water soluble crayons.

I pray daily to be guided and to have strength and courage. September is here and I am very happy and excited to see so many Autumnal colours everywhere. It's the little things that bring me joy. I am grateful for each moment. This weekend my nephew is getting married and I can't wait to be a part of his special day. Looking forward to his wedding.

This month I would like to decorate our home with Autumnal decor, go bowling and go to a drive in movie because I've never been to one. I would love to take my family to see a play as well.

This month I would like to make a delicious soup. Maybe leek and potato and also would love to make a chicken pot pie! Getting hungry just thinking about it.

I have a lot of things I would like to do. I also would like to decorate my cork board for fall and make a bucket list in my Leuchtturmn1917 notebook.  Sometimes I plan too many things but I feel it's better to have more ideas than nothing.

September 6th, 2025

We visited the Apple farm and it was a bit crowded but lovely at the same time. We didn't go apple picking we just bought apples, pies and candy apples. I will be going back with my husband to have a treat at the cafe. In the evening made popcorn and finished the Series "The Four Seasons" on Netflix.

Getting my Autumn decorations out of the bins and decorating.

September 8th

Made a delicious creamy potato veggie soup and bread. The family loved it.

September 9th

Made some artwork

Wednesday September 10, 2025

I made a lovely chicken pot pie today. I haven't been reading as much as I would like too. My hands get very bad rashes. So stressful. I know I should visit the doctor. Hopefully soon because no cream is working. I'm trying to stay off my phone and not watch the media because so many negative things are happening. This is why I like to visit all the lovely artists and bloggers for Friday Face Off. It brings me joy and I feel we should do things that make us happy.

Thursday September 11, 2025

It's a beautiful sunny day today. I created the mixed media piece today.

HAPPY FRIDAY!
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for for being here and reading my post. Thank you for all your comments! Sending you all lots of positivity and love and light!

Thank you Nicole for featuring my artwork on your blog! Truly heartwarming. I am very grateful.

Have a magical Friday and a wonderful weekend!
