On August 14 we went out and celebrated my Name Day. We had lovely and delicious Sushi.
It was delicious! I got the salmon platter and the smoked salmon salad was my favourite.
This week I also doodled some faces and then made a mess of things so I used stickers and placed them on top of the mistakes and then drew on top of the stickers.
I am trying to have some summer fun. I am just embracing what is close to home at the moment.
How are you all doing? It's been very hot here so I don't go out much in the heat as it makes me a very moody person. lol

Linking up with the lovely and talented Gillena for Art For Fun Friday.
Even though it is Saturday today I wanted to join in and share the love.
On Monday went to the local Library.
These are the two Library books that I took out and I absolutely loved "Pumpkin Heads" by Faith Erin Hicks. I actually really enjoy graphic novels, they are so fun to read.
Went out to a cafe and had a sandwich, salad and coffee and paid too much for this by the way.
Prices are very high at the moment. I rarely go out to eat.
I brought my Leuchtturm1917 with me and did some journaling.
Happy 50th Birthday to Me! My Birthday is tomorrow. 🎈 I am grateful for 50 years of life. The good, the bad and the ugly, it's all a gift from God. I've been through a lot in my life and I am so grateful for everything. I look forward to more amazing years! 🎂
I haven't been on here since March. I do apologize. I've been very busy with life stuff, mom stuff and housekeeping stuff. I have not picked up my paints or brushes.
I have been working on what I studied long time ago and trying to get back into that. Just giving acting another chance. Not sure how it will work out but I want to give it a try. I don't want to give up on dreams. I landed a wonderful agent and I got pictures taken for my acting. I love acting a lot so I am going for it. I am very excited!
Linking up with FFO. Friday Face Off.Here is my portrait in one of the actor headshots. I have a variety of looks and the photographer is fantastic! This is a low resolution of one of the headshots.
I've had a few doctor appointments. I still have a few more to go to. Not fun and very stressful but whatever. I just keep going and staying strong. I also have been walking and working out and I love it so much. I got into a routine and really enjoy it. I've been cooking a bit more and love making Greek food a lot. Feeling very emotional about tomorrow. So many feelings and emotions! I have family coming over for a bbq tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well.
So that is all I have to share with you today. I truly hope you are all well. I am grateful for all of you and thank you for your comments and support. Have a lovely rest of the month and much love, peace and good health.
I believe we should celebrate the little moments in life.
We are important and everything we work toward is valuable.
I don't have a lot of subscribers or comments, it's not about that. I enjoy bringing joy and comfort to myself and others with my videos.
It's not about the quantity but more about the quality.
My motto is Do what brings you joy and happiness,
Do what makes you Happy!
I am grateful and I appreciate each and every person who has watched, commented and liked my videos. Thank you all for making my 10 Years on Youtube a blast!
I am very grateful and love to document moments in life. I've enjoyed each moment. Each video is a little project for me. A creative outlet. My Cancer journey was the most challenging and hard to film but it gave me something to take my mind off things and also the opportunity to share the truth. I am grateful for each moment and each video.
I started as a beauty vlogger and moved toward Lifestyle vlogger. I enjoy a bit of everything when making my videos. I look forward to making more this year. Thank you for subscribing to my channel if you are subscribed and thank you for watching my videos. You are the best!
Winter wonderland is here and it is cold outside. I've been enjoying winter walks in the forest paths and I love the sounds of nature in the cold. The branches clanking and whipping each other, the birds sing and tweet, the squirrels rustle through the leaves to find seeds and nuts. I've been writing a lot of nature poems and would like to share them with you soon. I take my book out in the forest and write what I feel. I feel so much whimsy and wonder in the forest. I truly miss the forest in PEI. We lived close to this magical trail and I loved it so much. At the moment I am living close to another trail, I can still hear a little city noise, it's okay though. I am grateful.
I have been enjoying filming daily for Vlogmas on my Youtube Channel and I am finding with daily vlogs it really makes me focus on the daily things that sometimes we can take for granted. I am finding that each day has beauty and magic. The pink skies and the sun rising, the lights on the Christmas tree, the hot cuppa coffee, the snow that sits on the trees like fluffy cotton. All these little things are beautiful and magical to me. I am grateful.
Winter is truly a wonderland and whimsical, it is playful and helps my imagination to come to life. I love to express what I imagine though my art and videos. I am appreciative and grateful. The sense of wonder comes out when I take walks. I do pretend I am a kid again and wonder always what is around the corner or around the tree. My imagination kicks up in nature. The only thing I don't do is run around and frolic in nature. I walk but I wonder if that would change how we feel if I actually run like a kid again. Have you tried to frolic and run in nature? I wonder why certain things fade as we grow older. Why do we lose our sense of wonder, excitement and enthusiasm and forget how to play? Why would it feel "silly" if we jump or hop around like children? I feel we should skip, jump and frolic like we did when we were kids. I think we should awaken our sense of playfulness and have fun. I feel we should bring back our sense of wonder and do more pretending.
