Celebrating The Small Moments in Life! Ten Years on Youtube!

I believe we should celebrate the little moments in life.
We are important and everything we work toward is valuable.

I don't have a lot of subscribers or comments, it's not about that. I enjoy bringing joy and comfort to myself and others with my videos.
It's not about the quantity but more about the quality.

My motto is Do what brings you joy and happiness,
Do what makes you Happy!

I am grateful and I appreciate each and every person who has watched, commented and liked my videos. Thank you all for making my 10 Years on Youtube a blast!

I am very grateful and love to document moments in life. I've enjoyed each moment. Each video is a little project for me. A creative outlet. My Cancer journey was the most challenging and hard to film but it gave me something to take my mind off things and also the opportunity to share the truth. I am grateful for each moment and each video.

I started as a beauty vlogger and moved toward Lifestyle vlogger. I enjoy a bit of everything when making my videos. I look forward to making more this year. Thank you for subscribing to my channel if you are subscribed and thank you for watching my videos. You are the best!

HAPPY TEN YEARS ON YOUTUBE!

Thank you all and thank you YouTube!

Have a wonderful and blessed rest of the week!

Winter Wonderland and Whimsical Wonder

Linkin up with

Winter

Winter wonderland is here and it is cold outside. I've been enjoying winter walks in the forest paths and I love the sounds of nature in the cold. The branches clanking and whipping each other, the birds sing and tweet, the squirrels rustle through the leaves to find seeds and nuts. I've been writing a lot of nature poems and would like to share them with you soon. I take my book out in the forest and write what I feel. I feel so much whimsy and wonder in the forest. I truly miss the forest in PEI. We lived close to this magical trail and I loved it so much. At the moment I am living close to another trail, I can still hear a little city noise, it's okay though. I am grateful.

I have been enjoying filming daily for Vlogmas on my Youtube Channel and I am finding with daily vlogs it really makes me focus on the daily things that sometimes we can take for granted. I am finding that each day has beauty and magic. The pink skies and the sun rising, the lights on the Christmas tree, the hot cuppa coffee, the snow that sits on the trees like fluffy cotton. All these little things are beautiful and magical to me. I am grateful.

Winter is truly a wonderland and whimsical, it is playful and helps my imagination to come to life. I love to express what I imagine though my art and videos. I am appreciative and grateful. The sense of wonder comes out when I take walks. I do pretend I am a kid again and wonder always what is around the corner or around the tree. My imagination kicks up in nature. The only thing I don't do is run around and frolic in nature. I walk but I wonder if that would change how we feel if I actually run like a kid again. Have you tried to frolic and run in nature? I wonder why certain things fade as we grow older. Why do we lose our sense of wonder, excitement and enthusiasm and forget how to play? Why would it feel "silly" if we jump or hop around like children? I feel we should skip, jump and frolic like we did when we were kids. I think we should awaken our sense of playfulness and have fun. I feel we should bring back our sense of wonder and do more pretending.

T stands for Theatre!

Happy Tuesday! I know I said I don't like fizzy drinks but on the weekend I had this drink called flirt and it is made in Canada. I LOVE IT. So so good. Reminds me of Orangina.

LINKING UP WITH T STANDS FOR TUESDAY hosted by Elizabeth.

I had a lovely day on Sunday. I went with my friend Alexandra to see a play and had lunch at Athens Restaurant. First time going to this restaurant and the food was spectacular!
The restaurant is located on 707 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4J 1L2. Spectacular food! Very Authentic Greek Food.

Also that coke was incredible! I think the temperature of a drink matters a lot.
This coke zero was so deliciously cold I enjoyed it. Yes I know I said I don't like fizzy drinks before but I think I enjoy fizzy drink when it is very very cold. 🥶 Must be super cold.

Fantastic food. The meatballs and rice had so much flavour. So good.

They decorated the restaurant so nicely.

After the delicious lunch we went to Trinacria Espresso Italiano on 374 Danforth Ave.  and I ordered a double shot of espresso in my cappuccino. Oh boy let me tell you this kept me up all night into the morning. lol
it was the best cappuccino ever!
I love my cappuccino with cinnamon.

We took an Uber to the Theatre and watched a funny Greek Play. It was wonderful and my friend Christine is in the play and she is so talented. She executed her roll perfectly. She is fantastic! ⭐️
The entire cast was wonderful and I laughed cried. I loved the play.

My friend Christine and I.
Christine if you are reading this I want you to know you are AMAZING! Love you to the moon and back!

My friend Alexandra and I.
I had a wonderful time with my friend Alexandra. She is incredible friend and I am grateful for our friendship. I know Alexandra for over 30 years. She is amazing.

What a fun and wonderful day filled with special moments.

Happy October! 🎃 🍁 Favourites and Vlogtober Plans

Happy October!
Wishing you all a wonderful month full of peace, good health and love.

Yesterday I took a walk on a trail and loved it.
I won't lie, my body hurts after walks. I need to walk more often and build my endurance.
I do love how I feel after walks. It's like a workout.
All the colours are changing and everything is looking very Autumnal.
God is incredible!

I've been working on some junk journaling and some collage work.
It's so relaxing to play with paper and glue.

I love using my https://www.leuchtturm1917.ca/ books, I have a bullet journal, journal and a sketchbook.

Yesterday I created my Autumn Vision Board
I do add more goodies as the month goes forward.

Favourite Skincare, makeup and fragrances

Bath and Bodyworks Vanilla cafe
I find that Bath and Bodyworks sprays do better when you layer them.
The scent doesn't last long on it's own.

Chanel blush, LUSH fragrance and MAC lipstick
Also bought a fragrance from Amazon and it's a lovely smoky scent perfect for fall
I also like the NYX lip liners

I wear this everyday and love it.
I love LUSH

I will try to film vlogtober videos this month.  Not sure if I can make a daily one but I will try my best.

This is a short that I made yesterday. This is a Junk Journal Entry in my Junky Junk Journal as I call it.

My junky junk journal is in an OXFORD composition book. I also glue two pages together to create each collage.

I love junky junk journals! :)

I hope you all have a wonderful October.

Thank you for being here and reading my post. Thank you for all your comments!

Eat the Cake! Friday Face Off

Saturday

Incredible wedding! I am so grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to watch my nephew get married. So special. It was the most beautiful ceremony. I wish him and his new bride all the happiness in the world! God Bless them!

Sunday

Chores, groceries, feeling tired from the day before. Watched "Murder In The Building".

Monday

Got up, took shower, had coffee, prepared my daughters lunch for school, vacuumed, mopped, put laundry on, fed the cats and walked my daughter to school. Folded laundry and feeling a bit tired. Cooked bean soup for dinner. My bean soup has ingredients like carrots, celery, onion and garlic. This week I am going to try and read more of my books and do some artwork. It's monday and I am so tired. I always overwork myself with house chores. My hand rashes are doing better.

Tuesday

More laundry. I call it the cycle that doesn't end. Feeling a bit off in the afternoon but managed to create a few collages in my various notebooks. I use a travelers notebook from Peter Pauper Press, a Moleskine notebook, a Leuchtturmn1917 notebook  and a small Studio Series A6 Field Sketchbook from Peter Pauper Press which I bought on Amazon.

I used lovely snail mail goodies from my friend Yaya.
This collage is in my Leuchtturmn1917.
I love using washi tape, scraps of paper and stamps too.
Junk journaling and collage work is really relaxing.

This is my new Moleskine notebook. I am not sure how this will hold up with my mixed media but we will see how it goes. It has thin paper and I like the crunchy sound it makes.
I will be using this for journaling, collage work and artworks.

Collage in my Travelers Journal
Lovely pieces came from my snail mail pal Yaya.

Wednesday

Cleaned and did some laundry. Caught up with journaling and art. Did not read as much as I would like too. Watched "Bordertown: Mural Murders" as you can tell I like Murder Mysteries. 🕵🏻‍♀️ 🔍

Cooked lemon rice and meatballs with tomato sauce for dinner.  Hubby came home and we watched the movie "A Fall City Christmas" on Prime. A very meaningful film.

Created this piece. This is in my book  Studio Series A6 Field Sketchbook from Peter Pauper Press. I bought it from Amazon. I think it was 10 dollars. I really love the paper in this book. It's soft and it feels so amazing to colour with pencil crayons. Smooth and soft. Not sure where I saw this quote but I love cake and I say "Eat the Cake" life is too short!

Would like to do more reading tomorrow, lets see how this goes...

Thurdsay

Set up my moleskine notebook with October themed stickers and I hope it holds up. It feels like it might fall apart. I am use to stronger paper and a hard cover.  I will update you when I figure things out.

Doing laundry. Not cooking today. Leftovers today.

Should be reading but I am tired from setting up the notebook and worrying about it. lol

Missing my husband and feeling emotional. I'm hanging in there and can't wait until the weekend.

Took a leaf photo today.
