*please someone explain the rules to T Tuesday! is it only post on Tuesday? is it post a drink? is it post only a previous post? please forgive me and let me know. :)

PAST BLOG POST October 2022 when we moved from Toronto to PEI and lived there for two years! (currently we are back in Ontario)

Also if you have a blog hop let me know and I will add your button to the side of my blog.

Currently

on my desk

always tea and coffee

This week went by so fast!

I tried to keep busy doing a lot of art.

I did neglect keeping the house in order but sometimes I just have to do what I have to do! :)

Acrylic Paints and pencil crayons

Acrylic Paints

I also did decoupage this week!
I bought a vase and napkins from the Dollar tree

It was very fun to make

I don't mind that there is texture on the vase

October Journal Layout
The moleskin notebook threads are falling apart and I am not sure it will last but I will keep going and using tape. I don't like to start something and not finish it.

Acrylic Landscape Painting

I also made little pumpkins but not sure why my photo is not uploading so here is the youtube short.

I am truly grateful and happy that I focused on art this week.
I do need to find a balance though. lol
I just keep going.

One thing I learned this week is to take good care of your self,
Treat your self with love and kindness.

Thank you all for your visit and your wonderful comments.

I truly appreciate each and everyone of you!

  1. I ignore housework all too often too (to either garden read or mostly to make art), so I get exactly what you're saying. I love all this Halloween art, and thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey for Elle's challenge. Your pieces are great, and especially like your calendar journal page and your pretty scenery. Happy October. Have a great weekend and an early T day. hugs-Erika

  6. Maria, I absolutely LOVE your Halloween-art, sooo scary-cute!!!
Yup, Lisca explained it all - hope to see you at the T-party! And at FFO. Also on Fridays join Gillena - art, food and uplifting music!
And...do not wonder... There was one blogger-friend, she started to present her journal on the T-day. I joined.
She was a healthy, sportive woman. Went into surgery and passed away.
I keep her journal-idea up. Out of respect and cause it´s a good way to keep track. Sadly no one else joins in. So far...

  10. Oh Maria. As the host of T Stands For Tuesday, I couldn't explain it better than Lisca did. I will add that it was not my original idea. A woman had Tea Tuesday before I took over. However, one day, she just stopped hosting and didn't even mention she was quitting. Several asked me to take over, but I worried that she might feel offended if I called it Tuesday Tea, so I did the best I could with the new name. All you need is a drink, any drink to join in. I publish at 4 p.m. Central time each Monday. I do this because of the pesky time zone dilemma. So many of the
participants live across the pond, and it is already Tuesday in their world.

I also host Second on the 2nd, where we share an old post once a month on the 2nd of the month.

I love your October calendar. It is really clever. I also adore both your pumpkins, the one with the head is so fun. They are both perfect for Elle's theme at Art Journal Journey or AJJ. Thanks for sharing.

    I'll "see" you Monday afternoon.

  12. You made some very beautiful art, Maria. I neglect house keeping way too often because I prefer to be out in nature, garden, knit or read. Or make art which I haven't done in a while and I'm missing it. Today I finally brought out my Halloween decorations and displayed them in the front garden - just three differently sized pumpkins, two of which I painted with ghosts and bats years ago when my daughter still was little.
