Welcome to my blog and to this post. I appreciate you and appreciate your time. It means so much to me. Hope you enjoy this post and thank you again for being here.
This week I took a few pictures and captured two unique faces and thought I will share these with Friday Face Off Artists!
What do you think? Cute or what! :-)

Thank you all so much for being here. If you like check out my Free October Calendar printable for your journals.
Incredible wedding! I am so grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to watch my nephew get married. So special. It was the most beautiful ceremony. I wish him and his new bride all the happiness in the world! God Bless them!
Sunday
Chores, groceries, feeling tired from the day before. Watched "Murder In The Building".
Monday
Got up, took shower, had coffee, prepared my daughters lunch for school, vacuumed, mopped, put laundry on, fed the cats and walked my daughter to school. Folded laundry and feeling a bit tired. Cooked bean soup for dinner. My bean soup has ingredients like carrots, celery, onion and garlic. This week I am going to try and read more of my books and do some artwork. It's monday and I am so tired. I always overwork myself with house chores. My hand rashes are doing better.
Tuesday
More laundry. I call it the cycle that doesn't end. Feeling a bit off in the afternoon but managed to create a few collages in my various notebooks. I use a travelers notebook from Peter Pauper Press, a Moleskine notebook, a Leuchtturmn1917 notebook and a small Studio Series A6 Field Sketchbook from Peter Pauper Press which I bought on Amazon.
I used lovely snail mail goodies from my friend Yaya.
This collage is in my Leuchtturmn1917.
I love using washi tape, scraps of paper and stamps too.
Junk journaling and collage work is really relaxing.
This is my new Moleskine notebook. I am not sure how this will hold up with my mixed media but we will see how it goes. It has thin paper and I like the crunchy sound it makes.
I will be using this for journaling, collage work and artworks.
Collage in my Travelers Journal
Lovely pieces came from my snail mail pal Yaya.
Wednesday
Cleaned and did some laundry. Caught up with journaling and art. Did not read as much as I would like too. Watched "Bordertown: Mural Murders" as you can tell I like Murder Mysteries. 🕵🏻♀️ 🔍
Cooked lemon rice and meatballs with tomato sauce for dinner. Hubby came home and we watched the movie "A Fall City Christmas" on Prime. A very meaningful film.
Created this piece. This is in my book Studio Series A6 Field Sketchbook from Peter Pauper Press. I bought it from Amazon. I think it was 10 dollars. I really love the paper in this book. It's soft and it feels so amazing to colour with pencil crayons. Smooth and soft. Not sure where I saw this quote but I love cake and I say "Eat the Cake" life is too short!
Would like to do more reading tomorrow, lets see how this goes...

Set up my moleskine notebook with October themed stickers and I hope it holds up. It feels like it might fall apart. I am use to stronger paper and a hard cover. I will update you when I figure things out.
Doing laundry. Not cooking today. Leftovers today.
Should be reading but I am tired from setting up the notebook and worrying about it. lol
Missing my husband and feeling emotional. I'm hanging in there and can't wait until the weekend.
Took a leaf photo today.
