Happy September friends!

Last weekend I went On a Date with the hubs

He is the love of my life and God bless him! 

I look forward to more dates with my love.

We had the most delicious food at Kelseys Restaurant

Funnel Fries with ice cream and caramel sauce. 

Best burger ever!

Ice tea was delicious!

Finding the Spark

 Happy Tuesday friends! Linking up with the lovely and wonderful Elizabeth from  T stands for Tuesday!  I hope you are all doing well. Here in Ontario the weather got a little cooler and a few leaves are falling. I don't mind at all. I found my spark! I got my inspiration back and started painting and collaging!

I bought a desk calendar for 2027 and I like Mary Engelbreit's Artwork.

I bought a wall calendar for 2027 and it has cute recipes in each month. Super cute!

I had an iced tea at the sushi restaurant on August 14.

I enjoy tea with my meals instead of fizzy pop because fizzy pop bloats me.

Now that I am thinking about it I miss eating the yummy sushi!

I bought a few Halloween Stickers books from Michaels and I am  enjoying playing around in my Journal

I also enjoy using my hp printer. It is outdated but still works.

The Active Mind

The above photo was sent from hubby from work. The Sunrise is beautiful!

Drinking coffee at the moment and trying to finish this book. I bought the blanket from winners and i love it. It is warm and soft and has pumpkins all over it. Super cute.  

I love pumpkins! 🎃

This is a farm we visited last weekend and it has a chip truck and the fries are delicious! 

I  look forward to visiting in the Fall to get some pumpkins.

My sis-in-law lent me some vintage books and I think I will not be able to read them all but maybe I will read one and return them to her in October.

T Stands For Tuesday Solo Artists Date Sketchbook Fun!

                                  I thought it was Tuesday today! I don't know why, but I just did.

Went on a Solo Artist Date yesterday.

The same lovely cafe that I like. Had a iced coffee and macarons which were very delicious. 

Sketched and painted. It was a lot of fun. I walked there and walked back home which is one hour of walking. On the way back it is uphill so I definitely got a workout.

Fog was so bad we had to turn around and go back home.

After the cafe I went to the Library and made a library card. 

I went into an art gallery and looked at lovely artwork. 

I came home and reflected on the Solo artist date in my notebook. 

It was a fun adventure.

T Stands For The Artist's Way & Solo Art Dates

Hello Friends! Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Bluebird and Elizabeth's Blog

  T Stands For Tuesday

I am working through "The Artist's Way" and I am enjoying the process. I took myself on one solo art date but have missed three. I need to complete these tasks and maybe tomorrow I will succeed in this challenge. The only difficulty is that I live far from cafes, libraries and galleries. I am sure I can just go out in nature but it is still too cold here in Ontario. 

Hello Spring? Where are you? 

I can walk for 30 min to get to the shops or take Uber. 

I will try my best tomorrow and I will for sure let you know how it goes.

This was week one Solo Art Date and I had a lovely time! An iced coffee and also had a chicken sandwich and salad. I sketched and used watercolours. Truly fun. 

I painted two paintings for friends and I can't wait to show you them. 

I don't want to spoil their surprise so I will show you them after they receive them. 

I also finished my big yellow sketchbook and want to make a video going through each page. 

I will try to get that done soon.

T Stands for Quietly Entering A New Year

 

Happy Tuesday wonderful friends! I had my mammogram yesterday and my scans are CLEAR! 

Thank you Lord!

On the weekend I was anxious because of yesterday.

I did manage to fill my journals with the month of February tabs and stickers. 

It was a lot of fun. I did all this at the couch area instead of the art room.

Also I got to spend time with my hubby which was really wonderful.

Recently I've been loving drinking smoothies!

Blueberry banana with milk and maple syrup and strawberry too. 

So good and refreshing!

I managed to put together my January vlog! 

This was a challenge but I did it.

As for artwork the last pieces I worked on are the pastels. 

In progress I am working on Nicole's FFO portraits for Friday.

Today and tomorrow I will be continuing the FFO Portraits and I look forward to sharing them on my blog.
