T Stands For The Artist's Way & Solo Art Dates

Hello Friends! Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Bluebird and Elizabeth's Blog

I am working through "The Artist's Way" and I am enjoying the process. I took myself on one solo art date but have missed three. I need to complete these tasks and maybe tomorrow I will succeed in this challenge. The only difficulty is that I live far from cafes, libraries and galleries. I am sure I can just go out in nature but it is still too cold here in Ontario.
Hello Spring? Where are you?
I can walk for 30 min to get to the shops or take Uber.
I will try my best tomorrow and I will for sure let you know how it goes.

This was week one Solo Art Date and I had a lovely time! An iced coffee and also had a chicken sandwich and salad. I sketched and used watercolours. Truly fun.

I painted two paintings for friends and I can't wait to show you them.
I don't want to spoil their surprise so I will show you them after they receive them.

I also finished my big yellow sketchbook and want to make a video going through each page.
I will try to get that done soon.

NEW VLOG!

  4. Although I can drive, like you I don't live near lots of places. I get how difficult it would be to go out, but I hope you get out again. I am with you, we need some nice weather. It's snowing at my house. AUGH. I hope it was a super T day and I hope you get spring weather soon not only because we all need it, but also so you can get out sketching. hugs-Erika

  6. How fun you are doing the Artists Way. I did it years (MANY years) ago and found it very fun and useful. I loved the solo art dates. The morning pages, not so much!

  7. I LOVE your drawing of the iced coffee. You draw SO well. I really enjoy your drawings and look forward to more. I watched your video and love the paintings you made for two of your friends. I agree that little things are definitely important. Thanks for sharing your iced coffee, your salad and sandwich, and your vlog entry with us for T this week, dear Maria.
