London Fog Tea & Art

 Good Morning! It's a cold one here in Ontario. Like super cold I hate it. -14 but feels like -23! what? Noooooo I don't like it. I stay cozy and warm with my favourite tea at the moment and it is London Fog Tea. I am linking up with T Stands for Tuesday hosted by the lovely Elizabeth.

Yesterday I took out my pastels and oh what fun I had!

Lately I'm having a challenging time figuring it out what to draw and paint

I need more prompts,

Where do you go for finding prompts?

using pastels is fun!

Both chalk pastels and oil pastels are messy to play with but so much fun. I will be playing with these today as well.  I hope you all have a lovely Tuesday and enjoy the rest of the week. I appreciate you all for your visit and thank you for your comments. It means a lot to me.

Thank you!

Maria

  1. It's cold here (5) but you have me beat! We're not that far from Ontario (2 hours) but Ontario is BIG! I hope your weather eases. (I hope ours does, too!)

  3. It is cold here in New Hampshire, but not quite that cold. It's coming my way though later this week. Stay warm and enjoy your London Fog Maria. I enjoy a good London Fog too, but a chai latte is my favorite. And those are lovely pastels. I think you are spending your time wisely during the cold. My favorite is the one with the lemons. Have a super T day. hugs-Erika

  5. Oh my dear friend. I'm with you. I dislike being cold. It's 37°F here with the cold wind coming off the pacific ocean makes it feel like ice is shooting through my bones. Burrrrrr... I am so happy to see your art today. I really like working with pastels and getting all messy. It's so much fun. I will have some art prompts this Sunday in SIRAR. In the mean time, don't forget the FFO challenge a portrait of anyone you want. Showing on the 30th on FFO. From what you are creating today, still life looks like what you are doing. Take some dishes, glasses and bowls our of your cupboard and set up a still life to draw. Your landscape is lovely and if that's what you want to draw today, think of a place, any place then type it into your search and find a photo you would like to paint. As long as you don't sell it you don't have to worry about copyright. I spend time on pintrest finding ideas too. I hope this has helped. Enjoy your tea and stay warm.
