Tuesday Tea & A Farewell Poem to October

This is not the poem

I pulled my back last night

Don't ask how 

Ok 

I will tell you

Just getting into my PJ's 

yup that's all it took

Now I'm sitting and can't move from the couch

Thank goodness I have some help today.

Yesterday I tried this tea and It's in my favourite mug

I love the Nutcracker story and this mug is from Indigo

it has the characters all over it

I have a green version of this mug as well but it's in boxes from our move

We haven't unboxed everything

The tea is Organic Green Tea Matcha with toasted rice 

I really love the flavour of the toasted rice.

My Sweet October

October,

Colours of red, orange, yellow, brown

Leaves are falling all around and the air is cool

Fireplace in the air

Sounds of Autumn everywhere

Leaves falling like rain to the ground

The sun is bright 

The sky so blue contrasting with the warm colours of the leaves

oh how I will miss your beauty!

My sweet October.

Dear August...

It's been a pleasure having you here

Nature so lovely

Heat and sweet corn on the side of the road

visits to used book shops and delicious fish and chips

A new place for sushi and making art

I did struggle in my own mind

too much scrolling and not enough sitting in my own creativity but it's okay

I got it now

Moving forward with more introspection

more offline 

more physical time with paints, books, hobbies, nature

I miss that about PEI

Nature was so beautiful and all around me

Now there's too much noise 

too much stimulation and I like less of that

but I am trying to be grateful because I know too well things can change fast 

things don't last forever

moments in life are passing by fast

slow down

I look forward to September

Going to go nice and slow and with the flow as they say

I enjoy seeing nature change all around me

cooler weather rolling in 

I look forward to each day that God has blessed us with
