Thursday Art And Dinner Date

Happy Thursday! How are you all doing?

I hope you are all doing well my wonderful friends.

I made two art pieces in my new little sketchbook yesterday.

I also finished my old little sketchbook and I made a short on Youtube, it's A flip through short video.

Linking up with Rain's Thursday Art and Dinner Date  and the word for today is Crescent Moon.

I used watercolour pencils and I really enjoy making watercolour paintings this way.

I enjoyed making artwork yesterday.

My meal for today is eggs, spinach and mushroom omelet &
Feta, jalapenos with olive oil and toast.

Thursday Dinner Date & Hanging Out

Happy Thursday my friends! I haven't put up my tree yet and looking forward to doing that this weekend hopefully. I am looking forward to seeing a play on the weekend. I love plays so much especially when my friend is in a play. 😀  I am going with another friend and I can't wait. I've been reading more this week which is a great thing! :) Reading slump over and hello more story time and

OFF THE PHONE! YAY!

Linking up to Rain's Thursday Dinner Date and today's theme is Hanging out. Which I love to do around the house. I love hanging out around the home with my Leuchtturm1917  journals and sketchbooks, pencils and drawing materials. FuN! 🤩  Also linking up to Little Things Thursday!

Hanging out around my home must include cute pillows like gingy here. Got her from Home Depot.

Pizza and coke zero for dinner. To be honest I can only have two sips of coke.
I don't like it very much. I just can't do fizzy drinks anymore.
Not a fan of pop but I do like fizzy orangina drink.
Also pizza makes me so thirsty.  I miss my hubby's home made pizza that he made in PEI.
So good.
I love peppers and mushrooms on my pizza.

I started a new mini sketchbook and made a few postcard artwork as well.

This one is a watercolour of the lighthouse we had close to our home in PEI.
West Point Lighthouse. ❤️
I miss PEI. I miss spending time in Nature with my hubby.

Well my friends, I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and I hope to see you tomorrow in Gillena's Art For Fun Friday post and Nicole's Portrait Challenge! (the portrait challenge is next Friday)
Can't wait! 😛

Thursday Art & Dinner Date

Happy Thursday my wonderful friends! Linking up with Rain's Blog Thursday Art and Dinner Date

The past two days I had a really terrible migraine and I was not feeling good at all. The migraine is still lingering. Along with menopause, hot flashes, migraines and lymphedema on my left arm I'm on a fine line of being annoyed all the time. I am trying really hard to hang in there and be positive.

I did wake up feeling a little better this morning so I made some art and had a wonderful and yummy meal. Today's challenge word is Pumpkin Pie. I never realized what a challenge this would be! I had a hard time coming up with the pumpkin colour. I only had crayons, markers and pencil crayons to work with today.

I will keep trying and practicing.

I used some reference photos from pinterest.

Dinner

Homemade chicken soup with celery, carrots, onion, rice and lemon topped with black pepper and sriracha sauce with grilled cheese pita on the side.

Have a wonderful Thursday my friends! Thank you for reading and commenting.

Thank you!

Hello November Rain!

Hello November Rain!
The weather has been yuck.
It gets darker by 5:00.
I feel a bit tired this week.

&

I had fun with this illustration.
I know it's not perfect and I could of made it more neat but rainy days are messy!

I used crayons, water, marker, fineliner pen, pencil crayons and pencil.

My dinner
Spicy cabbage with carrots and rice and a cheese sandwich.
I really love cabbage. Need to make some cabbage rolls soon.
I can eat cabbage everyday.

Thank you so much
Have a lovely Thursday!

Bewitched in Spooktacular Adventures

 Happy Thursday!

Linking up today's post with Little Things Thursday and Thursday Art & Dinner Date.

How is everyone doing? This week I was able to do some artwork and journaling. My back is getting better but still hurts and my left arm from Lymphedema hurts this week. It's a constant battle as I get older. I am okay and grateful for each day.

Lately I've been enjoying walks in Autumn leaves

I've enjoyed Pizza from Pizzaiolo

I've been enjoying and finding comfort in fragrances like this.

Enjoyed making an Autumn wallpaper on Canva and love eating dumpling soup.

I've been enjoying making vlogs but I do find many challenges with vlogging and editing.
But I love to look back on memories.
It's a creative challenge and I want to get better at it.

Reflecting back to when I went to the ROM
A Spooctacular visit!

This is a little part of the "Saints, Sinners Lovers and Fools"  Exhibit

"The Southern Netherlands — better known today as Flanders — was home to revolutionary artists such as Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony Van Dyck, Hans Memling, and others. These extraordinary painters found new ways to depict reality, portray humanity, and tell stories that created parallels to their world then - and to our world today.

This large-scale exhibition, featuring over 80 stunning art works and objects — medieval, Renaissance, and baroque paintings, sculptures and more — offers a doorway into the Southern Netherlands of 1400 to 1700, a dynamic environment where new artistic genres and styles were created and flourished. The exhibition's unique presentation introduces the visitor, through these rare, extraordinary artworks, to stories of enterprising townspeople, prosperous cities, and an ever-developing society." -  ROM

I hope you all have a spooctacular Thursday and a wonderful Halloween!

Some digital collages made in Shuffles

Thank you!

Through The Fog Paintings

Linking up with Rain's Thursday Art and Dinner Date

I didn't get the dinner part for this post but I promise next post I will get the dinner part. ;)

I painted today and the prompt for today is FOG

It was very challenging and I love to learn from art challenges.

Watercolour, acrylic and pencil

This photo was taken when we lived in PEI.
The Fog was wonderful.
