Hubby bought me a lovely Christmas gift!
Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils that are super nice. They feel soft and blend nicely. I haven't tried pressing hard yet so It will be interesting to see how they work with more pressure.
I look forward to working with them.

Not sure how I feel about this one.
I also used a reference art piece for this one and not sure how I feel about this one too. lol

Also I overworked the paper on each cheek.
I enjoy learning and drawing faces
I look forward to making more.

Also this week I painted my new cup with watercolours.
I also created a few Junk Journal pages in my Travelers Journal

DeleteThat is a fantastic Christmas gift. And hopefully your not happy about your art lately changes soon. I go through phases like that, when I'm not happy about what a make and then I get into a phase where I love everything I make...maybe it's emotions from other things going on in life. DeleteWoW!!!! What a fabulous gift of colored pencils. As you know I have just started using them myself. I too get reference photos from Pintrest. I think you have done a beautiful job on both pieces. You may not need this you are such a good artist but, I learned a lot from Kirsty Partridge Art. I have a link on my blog somewhere. She gives free colored pencil lessons to print off. The mugs is beautiful, red is my color. Just know that every piece of art is from the heart and the heart shows what we are feeling.
