Linking up with Elizabeth's blog T Stands for Tuesday
It's been a strange and weird four days.
My holly jolly mommy mug broke, my cake broke and my kiddos got sick.
Nothing is perfect. Things happen and we just have to stay optimistic and keep going.
Not every moment in life is a Holly Jolly Mommy moment. LOL
Just keep going
pray
stay calm
take a nature walk
The walk I took yesterday was so cold. -16 ouch!
I had to put more than one day together in the VLOGMAS because life got busy.
This mug is from David's Tea
I've been enjoying the Bird and Blend teas.
I did manage to make two short creative videos on Youtube
They are collages in my Christmas Composition book.
I really love making collage pages in this book.
Someone mentioned I should make a real time long video of this process.
I think I will! :)
Praying that the rest of this week will go smoothly,
Praying that I get some gift shopping done because I haven't been able to get anything yet.
I am sure things will be great!
Hope you are all well,
thank you for being here and thank you for reading my blog post.
Maria
...Maria, I was in the nursery business for 50 years and I learned that there was no money in perfection. Pretty darn good was profitable. Strive for pretty darn good!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Tom! I like the idea of Pretty Darn Good! Have a lovely rest of the week!
DeleteI can relate to our trying to take a walk. I tried yesterday, and it had to be so short because I couldn't feel my nose after 10 minutes. :( I love watching you make your collage book. Collaging papers is so relaxing and fun, isn't it? And your glass tea mug is beautiful, but too bad the Mama one broke. Well it could be worse, right? I hope your week improves and it warms up a little bit too. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Erika! I appreciate you so much. Have a lovely rest of the week!
DeleteI like your remedy for non-Holly Jolly Mommy days very much! I hope the rest of this week is much improved!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie! Have a lovely rest of the week!
DeleteHope the Holly Jolly soon is back Maria! And have a great T-Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Iris! Have a lovely TDay!
DeleteMy best friend told me things come in pairs: a curse and a blessing. The curse your Holly Jolly Mommy mug broke. The Blessing: can it be salvaged? Can you use it to hold pens/pencils/markers? That way you would still have it. If it shattered, search online for how to make broken China jewelry. Your collage videos so much fun to watch. Thanks for sharing and Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThanks so much CJ! I appreciate it! Yay for the blessings! :)
DeleteSorry about the mug, cake and the sick kids. I think your creative mind will make something out of the broken mug. I hope the kids are better. Yes, the best thing is to get outside and take a walk. Love the videos. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Nicole!
DeleteDear Maria,
ReplyDeleteyes, sometimes things just don't go so well. I think everyone can relate to that. My husband and I are also sick right now (a bad cold) and have had to cancel several get-togethers with friends and family. We can only hope that we'll be feeling better by Christmas – and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your children 'll be feeling better soon too. At least you've been very creative, that's fantastic!
Happy belated T Day!
Warmest greetings and a time filled with light 🕯️✨❣️, Traude

Thank you so much! I hope you and your husband are feeling better. Have a wonderful Christmas and a very wonderful New Year! God bless!
DeleteIt a bummer about the mug! Broken cake though, not so bad, I love putting ice cream, custard or fruit on it. Your snowflake mug is beautiful. I struggle with collage a lot. Yours are so lovely and creative. Hope your kiddo is feeling better by now and you are doing well too.
