Happy Thursday my wonderful friends! Linking up with Rain's Blog Thursday Art and Dinner Date
The past two days I had a really terrible migraine and I was not feeling good at all. The migraine is still lingering. Along with menopause, hot flashes, migraines and lymphedema on my left arm I'm on a fine line of being annoyed all the time. I am trying really hard to hang in there and be positive.
I did wake up feeling a little better this morning so I made some art and had a wonderful and yummy meal. Today's challenge word is Pumpkin Pie. I never realized what a challenge this would be! I had a hard time coming up with the pumpkin colour. I only had crayons, markers and pencil crayons to work with today.
I will keep trying and practicing.

DeleteMaria, I had migraine for years - after the stressy week Saturday on the left, Sunday on the right side (we had a weekend-relationship, it was a real pain).
ReplyDeleteI was begged to try acupuncture.
Asked the doc - who learned it in China - how it really works. He was honest and said, "Dunno exactly". He was honest, so I gave it a try.
8 sessions later I was free ... for two years - and, as he predicted, it came back - 4 sessions, I am free since.
That was 1998!
Menopause... I love the heat when I was freezing, LOL.
I go to bed with a sweater and think, how can Ingo sleep in a t-shirt??? And then - bahm... T-shirt-time :-)

ReplyDeleteYour crayon version is splendidly done! If it weren't a piece of art then I'd be having a slice of it. :) I hope that old migraine goes completely away soon. I hate headaches! Your chicken soup sounds warm and comforting. I love hot soup, especially on cold days. You won't believe this but we got some snow flurries on Monday here in the south east (we live in Knoxville, TN). In fact the Blue Ridge Parkway was shut down from either Boone or Asheville NC all the way to Cherokee, NC where it ends. I'm not ready for winter. I hate extreme temperature shifts! Have a good weekend, mi' dear! xo
