T Stands for Life is Messy But I Don't Mind At All

Happy Tuesday!

First I would like to say it is Remembrance Day and I would like to pay my respect to all the fallen soldiers and respect to all that fought for our Country.

Since my last post I have not stepped close to my art desk nor have I created anything.
I was busy with house chores and my mind is all over the place.

I wish I had a routine. Routines never stay routines because life happens and things change and I just go with the flow and try to just hang in there. Life is messy but I don't mind at all. I just keep going.

I did manage to go into my planner and write down things that I am thinking about and organize my thoughts a bit. I also did some Youtube watching and stayed off the scrolling as much as I could.

Linking up with T Stands for Tuesday hosted by the lovely Elizabeth.
Thank you Elizabeth for hosting a lovely party! 🎉

Since my last post  I vlogged a bit more and pushed my self to just film and get out of my comfort zone.
I will be putting the video together by the end of the week.

I also created a mood board.

I bought stamps for my snail mail friends.

On Sunday we had our first snow ❄️ fall!
So beautiful to look at.
I am trying really hard to make my self go for daily walks.
Not sure what my problem is. I avoid it. lol
I need to just go for a walk and take my sketch book or my camera and just go for 30 min.
Hopefully I will go tomorrow. 😬

I walk my daughter to school and I took this photo on the way to school.

I also finished a book!

Little Alleluias: Collected Poetry and ProseLittle Alleluias: Collected Poetry and Prose by Mary Oliver
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Little Alleluias Collected Poetry and Prose by Mary Oliver is an exceptional book. This is my first time reading Mary Oliver’s work and I love her poetry. She expresses a lot about nature and how she feels about nature. She questions things and her writing is clear and simple yet so so beautiful. Wonderful reading experience. I can read her work over and over again. I would like to read more of her works. Wonderful and I highly recommend.

  1. Mary Oliver is an amazing writer and poet, isn't she? And snow. Today it's very cold here. Winter is coming, isn't it? And I dug out some Christmas things. They aren't up yet but with this dark and cold it makes me happy to think about getting them up too. Nice mood board, and very cute holiday stamps too. I hope you have a lovely T day and no new snow too. hugs-Erika

  3. Routines are good and some I really manage to keep, but if you can go with the flow... even better.
Love your mug! You already had snow! Here likely February when I´m hopefully in the midst of Summer in Perth!
Got a walking Pad and when my arm is better will hop on there and watch DVDs meanwhile - but I agree... outside is healthier!

    1. Hello Iris! Sometimes routines work for me. sometimes it's me that can't follow it. lol Yes we had a few days of snow which makes me very happy. A walking pad sounds wonderful! Inside or out just as long as you are walking all is good. Praying your arm gets better soon Iris! Have a lovely rest of the week and thank you for your visit to my blog. I appreciate you.

  4. I love my little routine but being outside that routine is exciting. It means visits or travels or even unfortunately an illness or something, but it's always very comforting to come back to my routine.
I like your mood board and your mug. It all screams Christmas, even the snow! But we are still in November. I really don't want to think about Christmas yet. Too early. Christmas in Spain is not a big deal anyway. And I live alone, so I'm quite relaxed about it.
Thank you for reviewing that book. I've not heard of Mary Oliver. Will look out for her.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  5. Well my friend, sometimes we just need to take a minute. Get things done as we can and then come back to our so called routine. Snow, I'm so glad I don't live in snow country any longer. I walk inside my house. I do have a tread mill too but I'd rather walk inside. It's more than walking, I do some dance moves too.

    1. You are so right Nicole. Snow is beautiful to look at but crazy to drive in. The cold is what gets me when we get down to -30 in January. eek! I say Dancing is so so much more fun than walking for sure! Have a lovely rest of the week and thank you! :)

  6. Here in the states, we observed Veterans Day, which is the equivalent of your Remembrance Day.

Loved your Mood Board. I made one once, but I prefer to work in an altered book using the same idea. Then I don't have to take it down. I guess I'm basically lazy. And of course, I can look back on what I was previously thinking and planning.

Those postage stamps are beautiful. I especially like the bunny, but I feel sorry for the fox, which is often misunderstood and hunted down.

That snow looks bone chilling. I hope it doesn't snow too much this winter where I live.

Love your mug of Ho Ho Ho! Thanks for sharing your week with us for T this Tuesday, dear Maria.

    1. Thank you so much for hosting the party Elizabeth. I am grateful. I love altered books. I think that is a wonderful idea. I am lazy too as I will not take this down until February. lol The Fox is totally misunderstood. I love fox. Snow is bone chilling. I love looking at it more than walking in it. Ho ho ho! Have a wonderful rest of the week and thank you so much.

  7. Except for my exercise and yoga routine, I don't follow a routine either, so I can relate. Snow already? Brr - we very seldom get snow here in the valley, but on top of the hills we often get some. It always looks beautiful, but I'm glad that I don't have to shovel any snow - I did that back in Germany and that was enough for the rest of my life. We had a very long and steep driveway and we kids always had to help our dad shoveling.

    1. Hello Carla! Oh brrrr is right. It must be lovely to look at hills with snow tops! I am happy you don't have to shovel any snow too. I don't do the shoveling but my husband does all the challenging tasks around here. lol. Thank you so much for your visit Carola. I am grateful for your visit. Have a lovely rest of the week!
