Hello friends!
Happy November!
How do you like my new cuppa?
This came with a set of three other cups and they all have a different designs on them.
I received the set from a wonderful friend.
Can't wait to share each one with you every week.

THE GOOD
Vision Board for 2026
I used Pinterest to print out some images
I also used some stickers.
This is how the weekly layout is in the Clever Fox Weekly Planner
I have a red Leuchtturm1917 and I use it for a Creative Journal. This lovely journal was gifted to me. In this journal I love to capture memories in creative ways like drawing, making collages, cut and pasting, adding photos, embellishments, making lists, writing poems and journal entries.
I just had to add pom-poms to the journal.
Leuchtturm1917 is by far my favourite notebook out there.
I love the quality of the notebook.
I have a Junky Junk journal, It's an Oxford Composition Notebook and in it I put all paper and scraps that I like. The messier the better! I will be be sharing a flip through of my Junky Junk Journal when I finish it.
I have a pocket size Leuchtturm1917 softcover that I use as a commonplace book.
"Commonplace books (or commonplaces) are personal notebooks used to compile any information the owner finds interesting or useful. They can variously contain notes, proverbs, adages, aphorisms, maxims, recipes, quotes, letters, poems, tables of weights and measures, prayers, legal formulas, and other professional references. They have been kept from antiquity, and were kept particularly during the Renaissance and in the nineteenth century." -wikipedia
So far I have documented quotes from books, bible quotes and classical music that I love.
I love a commonplace book. Yes of course I decorated the cover!
I have a Leuchtturm1917 five year planner called "Some Lines A Day" which I write a few lines of what happened in my day and I write it before bed. I love this planner because each day it allows me to see what I was doing the year before on the exact date. Very amazing planner and I will continue to use it because I love it so much.
*Feel free to use my code: MARIA for 20% off your purchase from Leuchtturm1917
I also have a Traveler's Notebook. I bought an affordable one off of Amazon.
This is great to take with me when I am out of the house.
This is my Moleskine notebook which I use as a monthly calendar, daily thoughts and to-do lists plus food and recipes and creative junk pages too. I am not a fan of this book. I will be using this up because when I start something I must finish it.
Do you have a favourite notebook?
Let me know which notebooks you like and enjoy.
I would love to know.
I also have two more notebooks, one to write stories and poetry and another notebook that sits by the couch area just incase I have an idea and want to jot it down quickly.
You can never have enough notebooks, journals, sketchbooks or planners! :)

ReplyDeleteHO! HO! HO! is my fav cuppa! Sadly I have more than enough cups!
Interesting about your life and now I really have to ask: Why Leuchtturm? Why 1917? "Denken mit der Hand" should really be promoted more.
I found other German words.
Oh, "sadly" I have a jounal for next year already... From "Brunnen".
LOL, munching on a real croissant whilst reading :-) - I do that seldom!
Thank you Iris! You are so funny and wonderful. Denken mit der Hand is their principal and it was founded in 1917 not sure about the Lighthouse part. I am sure they had a lighthouse in their town. lol I am sure Brunnen is just as wonderful. German products are incredible. So is the food! :) Have a wonderful rest of the week dear Iris!
DeleteTHose are the cutest, happiest mugs! I love how they all fit in the stand, too. They look adorable. And also liking very much how you decorate your journals!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jeanie! Have a lovely rest of the week and a wonderful November!
DeleteI love those new mugs and reading about your journals. I haven't heard the term commonplace book before, and I had to write I down because I love it. I use just one "book" to keep track of life every day of the year. I use a HObonichi because it is set up in a way to let me do that. It's expensive but since I only buy 1 a year, I splurge. I really loved seeing yours and doing a Vision Board for 2026. I need to think about what I would put on mine-thank you for inspiring me. I hope you're having a wonderful T day. hus-Erika
ReplyDeleteHello Erika! thank you for your visit and your wonderful comment. I used a Hobonichi once before and love the paper! it's so amazing and I love it! I am so happy you are inspired! Yay! :) Have a wonderful rest of the week and a wonderful November! Hugs!
Delete...Maria, I wish you a Nifty November, take care and be well and warm.
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Tom! Have a wonderful November!
DeleteI only use one journal and I do not write in it every day (I use the "One Line a Day" journal by Chronicle Books for that). My favorite journal is Leuchtturm1917, the lined ones. I usually buy them when I'm in Germany because they're much cheaper there. I love their range of colors. At the moment I'm using one that doesn't have any company name on it, but is similar to Leuchtturm1917. It features a beautiful picture of the California coast on the cover which is why I bought it. I love my state! You wrote about the commonplace journal, well, all that goes into my regular journal as well. I don't want to have too many journals at the same time. My planner is in my phone and labtop.
ReplyDeleteHello Carola! Your planners and journal sound wonderful! I've always wanted to visit California. I hope to one day. I have too many planners and journals. lol way too many. hahaha you have the right idea. Put everything into one! :) Have. lovely November! All the best Carola and thank you so much!
DeleteI enjoyed a peek into your different journals and planners. I like using Strathmore's Visual Journals either watercolor or mixed media paper. I tend to use the 9 x 12 size for workshop notes and the 5 x 8 for personal journaling. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteI too like Strathmore paper a lot. Thank you for your visit to my blog CJ! Have a lovely rest of the week!
DeleteSorry I'm late visiting. I really LOVE those new mugs. My favorite is HO HO HO. I'm also impressed with your new journals. I love your collages. Thanks for sharing with us for T Tuesday this week, dear Maria.
ReplyDeleteHello Elizabeth! It's okay! I hope you are feeling better. Thank you so much and have a lovely rest of the week! Hugs!
